How to use the Internet Archive: Step by Step

 

Step 1: Create a free account

With an account you can view digitized books and borrow (download) them for up to 14 days

 

 

Step 2: Search for your book / topic

Step 3: Under Media Type (left-hand side), choose Texts (if looking for books)

 

Click on a book to open it

Step 4: Borrow (to see the full text)

* You will need to create a free account to borrow books

Step 5: Search within the book

Step 6: Return the book asap (often only one person can borrow this book at a time)
