The film captures the byzantine startup-industrial complex in full; from the founding of the company to raising millions of dollars to the continually intense struggles of balancing a work and home life.

On their journey each of them finds how important it is to know the roots of their prime material - the cacao bean, and the social impact of the people involved in the chocolate production chain.

The other chef redefines success while his wife mulls leaving her high-paying job to work at the new pizza shop full-time.
