We want to hear from you!
Are you a GBC student or recent alumni? Is access to technology meaningful to you?
If so, please take a few minutes to fill out our LLC Loanable Technology Student Survey; your feedback is important to us! After completing the survey, enter our raffle to win prizes and cool LLC swag!
The Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts will use this space for the Food Science degree that is currently in development. This decision has been made in collaboration with CHCA leadership, the LLC and facility planning teams and reflects our commitment to optimizing College resources by centralizing services and staff where possible.
This centralization will allow us to improve services by providing a cohesive and comprehensive experience for students and faculty at our main LLC branches. All LLC services, except printing, will be transferred to the St. James Library Learning Commons at 200 King St. E.
All books previously hosted at 300 Adelaide St. E LLC have been moved to the St. James LLC.
Textbooks are in self-serve kiosks located outside of the SJ LLC. CHCA textbooks will be grouped together in the last kiosk, which is the one farthest from the library entrance. Students can open the kiosk using a physical student ID card; if needed, one can be requested online, or ask for assistance at the Library Learning Commons Help Desk.
Please note: the St. James Library Learning Commons is open and operating, however some areas are closed due to damage from recent flooding.
Inviting YOU to our Library Queue!
We've introduced a new appointment system to our Casa Loma campus Library Learning Commons!
Students can now book an appointment for one-on-one, in-person help with things like photo ID distribution, multi-factor authentication, picking up a Yubikey, help with AutoCAD, starting a 3D print, and more!
Did you know you can book a VR Lab at the Casa Loma Library? You can play virtual reality games using your own Steam account, or through the library's account. Follow the link below for more information!
