The tools to edit an entire reading list, a section of a list or an item on a list can be accessed by opening the List, Section or Item Menu.
Click on the three dots to the right of the list name, section name or item to open the menu.
Edit a List
Click on the Item Menu to the right of the item title and choose Edit Item.
Click Item Actions.
Add any information for students. You can also hide items from students here, and/or add tags.
Click Save.
**Important: Notes to students will appear in Student view; in instructor view they will remain hidden.
You may occasionally want to override the automatic link provided for library items. For instance, if you would like to direct students to the permalink for a chapter of a book, rather than the entire book. This can be done through the Item Menu.

You can move items within your Reading List.
Click and Drag Option
Hover your mouse over the Item to see the six dots
Click the dots and hold while dragging the item to a new spot

The item will be moved or copied to the new position in your Reading List.
Copying an Item or a Section
You can move, annotate, delete and add notes to multiple items at once by clicking the squares to the left of each item.
Clicking a square will cause the bulk edit option to appear.
You can link to any item or section in your Readings & Learning Resources list within a folder on the D2L page.
To create a link within a D2L folder:
The section or the item link will appear within the folder in D2L.
You can delete a list, a section from a list or an item from a list using the Options Menu.
Please note: If you wish to recover a deleted list, please contact Michael Reansbury or Sarah Wiebe to have the list reinstated. Deleted lists can be recovered within 30 days of deletion.
