One of the most important aspects of any research project is making sure you properly cite the sources of the information you're including. Most courses at George Brown College require students to use the APA citation style, but please check with your instructor to ensure you are using the correct citation style.
The following are examples of how to cite Business Reports from Business Source Complete, IBIS, Password, Mintel and Skift Research.
Last Name, First name initial. (Year, Month). Title of report [report]. Retrieved from IBISWorld.
Example:
Brocker, M. (2022, September ). Hotels & motels in Canada [report]. Retrieved from IBISWorld.
Name of corporation. (Year, Month). Title of report [report]. Retrieved from Passport GMID.
Example:
Euromonitor International. (2022, September). Travel in Canada [report]. Retrieved from Passport GMID
Last name, First name initial. (Year, Month). Title of report. [report]. Retrieved from Mintel Reports.
Note: use Mintel as the corporate author if there's no personal author.
Example:
Scott, M. (2023, August). Trending flavors and ingredients in desserts and confections-US-2023. [report]. Retrieved from Mintel Reports.
Last name, First name initial. (Year, Month). Title of report. [report]. Retrieved from Skift Research.
